me: Why does my head hurt so much again today, I thought it had finished up with this for a while.

me: Also, why am I sweating so much.

*It is 80 degrees out.*

me: It can't be, I would definitely have noticed that.

so as sort of a disclaimer: I've been in kind of a haze 95%+ of the time for the past month or so. That SU post yesterday had been sitting on my desktop getting fiddled with sporadically since midway through the last Steven Bomb.

If I'm not responding to your posts or messages, I'm not snubbing you, it's just that I have limited uptime, and am using most of it on stuff like calling doctors/insurance and driving to the grocery store. I'm not leaving the house most days right now.

So, please assume that most of the time, I have approximately the mental energy necessary to hit "like" and "reblog" on Tumblr, and that's about it.
Do other people get odors caught in their noses

Nonexistent ones

For days/weeks at a time

(Right now it's the cut for gross/body horror )

I need to eat something so I'm not dizzy I can go pick up my prescription, but it is an undeniable fact that food is really gross. Oh, well.

Situation update: I solved this problem by eating applesauce and bread, and thus fortified, calling Mom and asking her to get the prescription.
(I am not actually drunk. I thought about having some fruit wine earlier, but I didn't, because I have a slight fever and that seems likely to make it worse, despite the opinions of old Japanese men buying little jars of umeshu from the convenience store in the evening and then taking it home and heating it up.

They're old Japanese men, so they probably don't ask the clerk to microwave the jar behind the counter - could potentially create social awkwardness. They take the jar home. Do you microwave the umeshu jar? If you ever microwave it, does it matter whether there's an actual plum in there? Or does the jar have to go in a pan of water on the stove, or something? The old men's wives or daughters or daughters-in-law probably actually handle this operation, if such are present.

Being several days into an illness and grumpy and restless about it affects me in a manner superficially similar to that of alcohol, particularly after dark.)
If an un-coated tablet gets caught on the back of your tongue it will BURN.

I did this two days ago and it still stings.

You know how people do screencap-LPs, with all the game's dialog and the important plot things shown? That should be a thing for TV and movies. Specifically that which I am interested, in but cannot watch, due to brain problems.

I need to get brain surgery so I can watch Steven Universe. It's very important.

I keep remembering that Terry Pratchett died and feeling disconnected from reality. This is how a lot of negative events hit me. I go "I must be in a bad AU, I need to go back to the source material." The time before death always feels like a place which can be returned to.

Unhealthy! Probably something for which there is a medical term?

(Okay this post maybe isn't really completely about Terry Pratchett.)

My brain has basically felt like it does when I have a fever for the past month.

It’s a measure of how fucked-up I’ve been that I keep purchasing granola even though I’ve got a massive surplus of oats, honey, and cinnamon right now.

It is a thing I normally cook all the time. It’s basically my easiest frequently-used-recipe. But I am buying overpriced boxes of it at the store. Problems.

I brought Dad’s spare coffee grinder over here at some point during the past two weeks. As I have been in a queasy stupor for most of that time, I have no idea where it now is.

Did I put it in the freezer? Did I send it into the sky in a balloon? Did I put doll clothes on it and place it in a chair facing out the window? Who the hell knows.
