Nonexistent ones

For days/weeks at a time

(Right now it's the "cigarette ashes in hot ambiguously-living human fat, partway through the process of alchemizing into a malevolent solid" one, which is among my least favorites.

I like the "peaches and Idealized Alcohol That's Not Gross" one best, but it makes everything I eat taste substandard.)

How do you know what living human fat smells like? Uh, or any other kind of human fat?

I fortunately do not! I also do not know what the idealized non-existent non-gross alcohol smells like.

And yet, my brain thinks I do.

I need to remember to reply to you here. Anyway: as I said on tumblr, when I got smell hallucinations it was zinc deficiency and fixed by zinc tablets. My smells were very ester-y, like chemical fruit smells mixed with bleach. As I recall another friend had similar issues as a side effect from meds and zinc didn't help, just going off the meds. Good luck getting rid of it, anyway, I remember it being very annoying!
