I just watched Laputa for the first time.
Jul. 4th, 2011 12:44 am(And it was a torrent which, for the first 90% of the film, had wildly inaccurate subtitles that couldn't be turned off, which finally disappeared at the end.)
It looks like Cave Story is probably some sort of Laputa fanfic, given ( Cave Story spoilers )
Also, the film itself is Nausicaa's lighter-weight twin. I had not realized that they were so similar.

Apr. 17th, 2011 07:33 pmI went for a walk in the park. It was one of the first warm weekends, and very windy, so there were about a dozen people flying kites. A string of kids were standing on one side of the sidewalk, with their kites hovering just over it, all in a row.
My immediate instinct was to shoot the kites before they swooped down on me. They moved like jellies!

This is process is from whence comes most of my knowledge of Cave Story and Twilight Princess. Also Final Fantasy IV, though I assume that I technically could have beaten that if it hadn't ticked me off.
