Gynecologist Last Week: Okay, I'm not going to do a physical exam on you because you say those hurt, let's get some lab work done and do it next week.
Gynecologist Today: Actually, you know what? I want you unconscious for this. Come back in three months.
I am pleased by this medical decision, and feel it to be the right call.
She also prescribed me metformin and spiro; not sure how I feel about this combination.

Date: 2015-07-05 02:25 am (UTC)I only just heard about the use of metformin for the treatment of PCOS this past week, from a link that
yhlee posted. I have metformin for my diabetes, but the article really made me wonder whether I had PCOS back when I still had ovaries to have it with, because I have so many of the things that are supposed to be possible results of it.
