Goujun is the only character who would relate only what happened in an unbiased manner. It isn’t stated plainly but since he most likely is Jeep, he watches over the 4 to the very end.

Ah ha ha, yes. Along with that interview, there's an older bit somewhere, I think it was some little back-of-book sort of sketch thing she did years ago IIRC, with a caption more or less to the effect of "Goujun = Jeep?". So the idea's been floating around for a while and is more or less accepted canon, even if she's not yet said "OK, yeah, he *definitely* was Goujun.".
