Also, the Princess's angst is that her stepmom is mean to her, and she gets so sad about this that she collapses mid-battle - while the guys' angst is stuff like Cursed To Become The Villain's Zombie Slave and Beloved Mentor Stole His Memories And Is Trying To Kill Him. Which, somehow, does not cause sudden collapse on their part!

Also, Anzai keeps forgetting the rules for this tournament he's structured the entire plot around, which is VERY DISTRACTING. And there's a character who looks and dresses exactly like Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy VII and is named after Vincent's signature attack, which is VERY DISTRACTING.
