I love it when I wake up already dizzy for no obvious reason, it's great when that fucking happens.

In my case (and thank $Deity that it was only once), eventual blame fell on fish tacos the previous night, possible dehydration, and a [then] oversupply of [technical term] a nutrient in the blood. That is particularly scary to wake up to and try to negotiate the less than ten yards to the bathroom when what needs to be evacuated is unknown.

Dunno if checking it out without suspects would help.
