snarpI always manage to forget that Fassad's the Gamzee-base in the way Porky's the Caliborn base and Andonuts is the Dirk one. Because he. Pretty obviously is. But I invariably blank that out until I get to the "he's got horns now!" conversation, in the way I do most things related to the Bad Character Concept Patrol.
Before being turned to incomprehensible, shattering evil by creepy puppets and maybe green slime, Fassad's whimsical yet assumed-to-be-hopelessly-off-putting persona was "trans woman," not "juggalo." I wonder if there was ever the potential for Hussie to make a huge transmisogynistic mess of Gamzee that way, thus radically altering the demographic and political makeup of Homestuck fandom? Or maybe he knew from the get-go not to import that particular shitlibrary.
