I'm nauseous all the time since I started the metformin and spiro, which means I don't eat, which means I get dizzy and even more zombielike than is my ordinary state. One or the other of these substances is apparently giving me RLS, too.

I'm going to keep taking them for at least a month, but this is inauspicious.

My cat has identified my stomach as a problem and keeps lying on it, good job cat.

Oh, geez, yeah. Metformin is hard on the GI tract. When I picked up my first prescription, the pharmacist basically said "Take a half dose with food the first week and brace yourself 'cause this is gonna suck."

He was not wrong.

Fortunately, matters do, er, improve. Meds, though. Meh.
