So, Jake English looks an awful lot like a conglomeration of several under-represented groups that Tumblr Homestuck fandom talks about a lot: he may be asexual or aromantic, his role models are all women and it's easy to read him as genderqueer, and he's got neurological issues - almost certainly brain damage from those head injuries Hussie kept showing us, and probably also ASD - that neither he nor anyone else has yet recognized for what they are. And his neuro stuff causes a lot of problems for him and make the people around him under-estimate or over-estimate his abilities.

I feel like Hussie threw him out there and is kind of going, "hahahaha, I gave you what you want and you're ignoring him because he's not as much fun as the others! I laugh at your fake social justice!" But he is... also not paying much attention to him? So.

I'm not really going anywhere with this. I want Jake to have a seizure, maybe? Yeah.
