Date: 2015-07-05 02:16 am (UTC)We had raccoons living on the grate at the top of our chimney when I was in my teens. My little black poodle, Bonnie, knew that Something Was Up There. She'd go On Point like a hunting dog every time she went by the fireplace and was mystified that we didn't seem interested in doing anything about what she'd found for us.
