I was moving the laser pointer up and down and the battery died. The cat kept bobbing his head for several seconds afterwards. He turned to look at me reproachfully, head still bobbing, up and down. I'm sorry that I broke your head, cat.

Shelby's got thing she does with her face, under some specific but poorly understood set of conditions: she wobbles it back and forth erratically in a way strikingly reminiscent of what happens when you try to push two magnets with the same pole together. It seems to be connected to when she's having a hard time seeing, and also excited or worked up. But basically it's random; she'll just suddenly be jerking her head back and forth around a central axis-point she can't quite hit.
