There is no need for me to flip my shit over the store in town selling "kimono dusters" which are garments totally taxonomically unrelated to either kimono or dusters and appear to just be crappy beach cover-ups that'll fall apart after one wash. Everything is fine and I am not going to get pissed off over this trivial phenomenon.

Basically, yes, that's what these garments look like.

(There's a sort of coat that's called a duster. Long trench-coats, I guess? Movie cowboys and detectives wear them sometimes. They're good for blowing around dramatically if you're in a genre that doesn't let you wear a cape.)
