snarpYeah, it looks like Hussie actually did go back and paste John's hand into all those old panels.
I wonder if the characters will now retroactively start remembering having seen this? Vriska going, "oh, that explains all those creepy hands! Wow, why did I never realize this 8efore????????"
Which would be hilarious! Everyone starts referring to the Spectral Hands meme like it's always been a thing. I just looked back through SBAHJ, and there even exists relevant material which Dave could claim was inspired by the Spectral Hands.
But it would kind of set the story up for a The Heroes Don't Remember All That Awful Stuff They Went Through ending. Which is, of course, the worst and most unfair sort of ending, and I've never entirely forgiven Patricia McKillip for the time she did it.
So, don't do that, Hussie. I will be extremely angry.
