Tavros, I am sorry about your lifedeath.
Aranea, I'm also kind of sorry about yours, even though you do mostly seem pretty chill with it, so I've been coming up with scenarios in which you go grimdark and do physical damage to the ghosts I don't like? I just feel that a bout of grimdark would improve your quality of lifedeath. Give you something to do other than exposit. You have Mindfang's outfit on now, and that's probably a step in the right direction!
Also, I like the idea of non-grimdark Rose encountering grimdark Aranea and having a calm discussion with her about tentacular despair, while Meenah is like off to the side with Karkat trying to decide whether Aranea is cooler like this or not. "Whale she can't make fishpuns anymore so I'm going to have to chum down on the side of regular Windfang Aranea." "NO, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, SHE'S FUCKING PERFECT LIKE THIS, BECAUSE I CANNOT UNDERSTAND A WORD SHE SAYS." But Meenah is not really actually listening to Karkat, she's just kind of monologuing about the potential pros and cons of her best friend becoming a gibbering mass murderer.
