What on earth is wrong with Tumblr.

There is a ship in Homestuck called JohnKat (John/Karkat). For some reason, Serbian nationalists appear to be using the JohnKat Tumblr tag to post unpleasant memes describing their feelings about Kosovo's independence, using Homestuck art. This decision makes perfect sense.

(John fights with a hammer and Karkat fights with a sickle, so I assume it's related to that.)

I'm not sure what they're hoping to accomplish here, aside, I guess, from upsetting Kosovo's slasher community. Or maybe racist Serbs just, as rule, desire gay interspecies erotica? Because the direct responses I've seen have been like, "Post actual JohnKat to show your support for Kosovo's sovereignty! Here is a picture I drew of Karkat wearing John's shirt."

EDIT: Or possibly this is a very stupid prank. I will hope that this is the case. Someone with the username Lowtax just spammed me repeatedly, so, there's that.
