So today I pissed off a monkey.

There were like forty million signs at the monkey park saying you weren't supposed to look the monkeys in the eye. I am some sort of idiotic rebel.

It was a couple minutes to feeding time when I got there, and a terrier-size wild boar showed up to eat, too.

Me: I don't know if it's cute or not...

Monkey keeper, firmly: It's cute.

I also met a big dog yesterday at Sanjusangendo. Apparently it was a Saint Bernard/Bernese Mountain Dog mix. The owners informed me proudly that it weighed 120 pounds.

I hate that monkey park so much. I only go when other people drag me.

I enjoyed it, but I do wonder about the wisdom of letting the monkeys get so used to humans.
