And sometimes this is unfortunate, because if it were, all we'd need to do about the hurricane would be this: I could go kite Malfurion over to the eye, and some Alliance person could do the same to Thrall, and they'd probably deal with it before they started fighting each other.

I'm sure Anderson Cooper would report on this in a neutral manner, without letting his elven heritage bias him.

They might not even fight each other, really. Thrall isn't warchief any more, and Malfurion might or might not respect his girlfriend's "hey we saved the world with this dude, he's cool," I don't really know what their relationship's like.

I'm just thinking in terms of the business where Malfurion is presently hostile to Horde. Which is weird. Dude, you are standing holding a tornado in place, asking random passers-by to bring you stuff because you can't move. Do you really want to get picky about who those passers-by are? Enough that you will let go of the tornado to beat up on them?

(Though does Thrall count as Horde anymore?)

Ehnnn. I'd say that Thrall's pretty seriously emotionally invested in the Horde but somewhat more invested in not letting the planet blow up. Officially, he's now a member of the Earthen Ring and, hence, faction-neutral, to the anguish of Alliance fanspawn the world over.
