A Japanese grocery store! It's about the size of my hat, but it's got a really good selection of miso, my preferred brand of instant dashi, and an okay selection of loose tea and niboshi. I've been looking for akadashi miso and niboshi forever, and these guys actually had more than one kind of each.
So this is useful to know. Their azuki beans were a little overpriced, but otherwise I have no complaints.

Even if they end up not having much of what I'm looking for, visiting and noshing on a little sushi is more than enough to keep the trip from being a waste! And if they don't have what you want in the way of sweets, I need to drag you to Hana sometime -- they have a good range of candies and cookies, Pocky, etc. and usually have a bunch of different mochi treats and little cream puffs and such in the fridge case.)
