Second Life is still pretty much the only thing like Second Life out there, and it is still a complete fucking mess.

Maybe that Oculus thing will step into the niche, sometime? What ever happened to Second Life? I never hear about it anymore.

It still exists, in pretty much the same form it did a decade ago. It is frozen in time like a TI calculator.
