I think that instead of having a bio associated with this blog, I should just link to my Tumblr posts from April 7th. I pretty much summed myself up that day.

This is it. This is what you get. The item is non-returnable in its current state, there's hair all over it.

5) Can the dog get up on the bed? Are there any variables that would change your answer, such as size, fluffiness, time of year, or convincingly watery griefstricken expression?

Read as far as the first question mark, and mind was already saying, yes... bed is not that high and dogs are medium-sized and well able to jump... Then realized based on the second part of the question that for some folk dog-to-bed access is based on thinking that perhaps, whether or not they can, they shouldn't.

The fact this took a moment to sink in confirms for me that I *am* a dog person.

Oh, and to answer that second part? Muddiness. The entire city is currently drowning in snowmelt, and anything that is not paved has become a sea of mud. Dogs who roll in mud are not allowed in bed until they're cleaned off.

Don't do Tumbler, so answering here.
