The fact that Damara says this actually makes me think/hope that Aradia is in the wrong about all the ghosts somehow "needing" to go poof.

Something all the Time players have in common is a conviction that everything will eventually come out "right" in some particular way - for Dave, this means Dave Being The Reluctant Hero; for Caliborn, it means Caliborn Being The Enthusiastic Arch-Villain; and for Aradia and Damara, it means All Is Dead, And Rots.

And none of them are going to be right! John and Vriska broke inevitability, after all. Those darn kids.
