Porrim is now in the Rose/Kanaya fic as the unhappy older vampire who warns Kanaya against relationships with humans. Also, Kankri, who has been banned from Ta-Nehisi Coates's comments section.
The premise of the fic is, obviously, that Rose writes YA novels about vampires which she's not very happy with, and Kanaya has a book blog that tears them apart in ways that legitimately hurt Rose's feelings, and they have IM fights and are kind of internet kismeses until Kanaya has to go on the run with Karkat due to her status as an actual vampire. Kanaya refuses to tell Rose what's going on or go to her for help, and finally Karkat has to do so on her behalf, but of course he's very upset with Rose over some ship-sinking choice she made in book four, and their conversation kind of gets distracted. (Karkat is not allowed to write guest posts for Kanaya's blog anymore, because of reasons.)
