Have been on Adderall for five days now.

I've gotten about as much done in those five days as I did in the preceding month, which is about as much as I was normally able to do in a normal-to-good five days during college. Not sure how sustainable that is - I'm sleeping very badly and anticipating a crash. I cut today's pill in half, and will probably keep doing that for a few more days.

If it keeps working, I anticipate that I will get pretty mad that it took more than three years and something like six mental health professionals for someone to prescribe the stuff to me.

That's basically how I feel about the antidepressant that finally worked. "You mean if this had been the first one I tried, I could have been feeling this stable since college?"

Yeah; the trial-and-error thing getting to Pristiq (which is the only one that really works reasonably for me) was exhausting. I went through about eight different things, most of which made me sick to some extent.

The Adderall makes me actually mad at my doctors, though, because my main complaint's been grogginess/fatigue from the beginning, and everyone was reluctant to prescribe stimulants because War On Drugs. The guy who finally did write the prescription is an angry political activist.

u can identify them cuz they r @ the law office trying to sue every1 involved in drug policy personally
