She's so big………. There's TWO of her.

Rose, not Pearl or Peridot, ends up being the character through whom the series explores the duplicate-gems situation.

It would be so great and awful. An ocean of tears. Pearl tries to cut herself in half or something.

Also, there’s the pink triangle on Rose's shield, right? Two triangles stuck together make a diamond, two Rose Quartzes stuck together make a Pink Diamond.

Steven is pressured to fuse with this slightly-off replica of his dead Mom to Diamond it up and it’s a MESS. Everyone is SO WRECKED.

(And imagine the horror of Pearl inevitably trying to Do This For Him. God.)
