UGH that Friedman post pissed me off so much, I was hoping you'd post about it.
I am so sick of US manga/anime industry commentators ragging on fans EVERY TIME A COMPANY FAILS. Does this happen in any other industry?! NO. Industries usually try to figure out what their customers want instead, right?
