To echo one of your tags (but said in a tiny, rather troubled voice), WTF?! I might, when my head recovers from spinning, have more to say, but for now, just WTF?!

Also, I'm rather tempted to show a copy of that image to my shrink, mostly because she tends towards hilarious facial expressions when in WTF-mode (hey, I gotta get some back, after 10+ years of shrinkage).

Well, that certainly takes away from pranking La Shrink :)

Seriously, though, there are other pieces in several fandoms, my fandoms included, with equally long warning lists (tags? I never know what to call them) that are every bit serious, and their hit counts are high, too. Much frowning and telling myself "To each their own" ensues whenever I stumble over them.

Disclaimer: While I am definitely not a fan of fluff, PTSD ensures that my dreams are bad enough not to have them augmented by my reading material. A warning list like that is sufficient to send me firmly in the direction of away, speed: fast.

You can keep back the precise nature of the fanfic until you've procured the desired facial expression. It creates dramatic tension, which I think perfectly valid in a therapeutic context.

Yeah, it turns out a lot of fanfic is pretty exploitive and tasteless. Given the aggregate maturity of the internet, I'm pretty amazed by this.

John is a serial killer, and I think he takes out the whole cast for ambiguously bagel-related reasons. I'm not going to read the whole thing to confirm this, though. It's all pretty deadpan, the commenters mostly have no clue what's going on.

While I admire the author's dedication to his/her ironic persona, I don't recommend actually reading the fic. It's pretty bad.
