I feel like this book is basically Madeleine Robins repeating over and over, "Regency romances need to get their act together."

I knew there was a reason I liked it.

(Actually, my love of A Point of Honour predates my introduction to Regency romances, and originally derived in large part from a belief that Verseillon was dreamy. I was a perceptibly different person then.)
