Thank you for taking the time to clarify, especially on a point of curiosity that wasn't central to your post. XD

I know that I'd love to see more numbers from publishers (as opposed to authors) who are doing free giveaways and selling DRM-free ebooks, especially Baen Books (they have a free online library) and O'Reilly Publishing (their numbers are mostly from 2007). I think that given how the economy of the internet/fandom works that the DRM-free ebooks and offering free books (say, free first two books in a ten book series) will be the future of things, but numbers are always helpful. I should also keep in mind that although they get brought up at the same time, that DRM-free ebooks and offering books for free are two totally separate things. XD

I'm totally interested in seeing how things unfold in the next five years. :)
