Why is DA:O so glitchy.

Is it just that I modded it too much. I just got an ending which only makes sense if Morrigan sabotaged the kingdom by giving everyone embarassing memory and perceptual problems.
After I made Alistair marry Anora and spared Loghain,
* Alistair disappeared until shortly after the final battle, and things proceeded as if Anora was ruling alone. She expressed her regret to me that he had died killing the dragon.
* He was, in fact, standing right behind her. He referred to himself as King when I went over to talk to him afterwards, but I don't think he knew he was married to Anora.
* Loghain had forgotten that I'd made him bang Morrigan, and thought that he'd been the one to kill the dragon, leading him to be confused and apparently disappointed about still being alive. I assume that dialog's for when the Warden is the monsterbaby's father? Loghain/Alistair can kill the dragon without knowing what Morrigan and the Warden did?
So Alistair thinks he's King and ruling alone, Anora thinks she's queen and ruling alone, Loghain thinks he killed the dragon, they are all very upset that no one believes them. Kingdom crumbles, Leliana probably ends up in charge of what's left through means no one can later figure out. Yes, I wish to import this state of affairs into future games.
