the ocean: No, I’m not just watching it out of a form of childish pseudo-rebellion against a genuinely dangerous political actor whom I view as a sort of cartoon villain for a lot of fucked-up reasons I need to examine - I mean, Seth Rogen’s a really good actor -
me: Which is why you never mentioned the movie before the hacking - it was all just, like, washing against the sand, evaporating to form clouds, concealing giant squids. Not one mention of this movie about which you’re suddenly so enthusiastic -

Dec. 26th, 2014 02:41 pmLast night I dreamed my SBURB world was the Land of Grade School and Surgery, and my quest involved performing emergency surgery on Maury Chaykin using only the items which one might find grade schoolers using in art class, in order to save the A&E adaptation of Nero Wolfe.
Chaykin was conscious and fretfully criticizing the way I was handling things in-character. I got Elmers Glue on his lungs.

Dec. 26th, 2014 04:36 pmTofu is not exactly one of my top-ten foods, but the terrible quality of the stuff the grocery store carries is the reason I have basically stopped making miso soup, which I at one point in my life ate an average of 2.5 times per day. Annoying.
