I confess: on Christmas Day I installed various software and played around with Dogecoin. Not because I wanted to Get Rich Quick but because the whole idea was hilarious and also I felt like messing around with computers.

I made no money at all (but on the plus side didn't have any money stolen) and concluded that my laptop with its integrated graphics and not wonderful specs is probably not a suitable instrument for mining cryptocurrency.
