He is going deaf, will not admit it, and will not turn down the goddamn TV. Also, he keeps leaving gallons of water sitting on top of the goddamn fridge door, where they invariably fall. I've luckily only had my brainscar grazed, thus far, but today's did burst and soak the kitchen, which was a first for me.

The power went out all throughout the holl(ow)(er) last night and stayed that way until 3:00 AM, throughout most of which interval the weather was very clear. I went out to the field and watched the stars for about forty-five minutes. I saw one meteor, possibly two, heard a large animal having a wheezing fit somewhere nearby, and heard apples and pears hitting the ground whenever there was a breeze.
