I need to set up an appointment with a new GP - my psychiatrist recommended me two of them - and also one with a gynecologist, and also get orders written for an MRI of my head to make sure nothing's inside it.
The reason I need to do all this is that I'm tired all the fucking time. Given that I find personal interaction and driving particularly tiring, it's tricky.
Psychiatrist wants me to get very thorough physical workup because (inexact quote): "I know you spend too much time looking upsetting things up online - it must have occurred to you that you might have CFS."
Me: "Yeah, um. But given that that's the "we can't fix this or even explain what it is" diagnosis, I mean, I'm hoping more for something like a benign tumor on a gland. They cut me open and make the problem mostly go away again? ...I'm putting "benign tumor on a gland" on my birthday list."
Her: *sigh*

For what it's worth here's my general advice for people with chronic fatigue. Good luck.
