That sounds horrifying. I hope you at least have a heating pad. If not I suggest hiring a cab driver to go to the drugstore for you, because no one should have to go through that.

Oh nose! I'm sorry. This reminds me how my partner has started keeping pain killers on all levels of the house ever since I started asking her to go get me pain killers in the middle of the night from another floor. She's okay with getting up, but prefers it to be a short trip out of the warm bed. But then I move them, or use them up, and we inevitably have conversations about how the ibuprofen is in the kitchen. Again.
