Nixon's doing a little better.
Which means that I would be extremely alarmed if she had acted like this two weeks ago. She sits on a pillow all the time, looking at me sullenly. But she can make it into the litterbox when she puts her mind to it, and seems enthusiastic about her food, though she still only eats about a tablespoon at a time. She's drinking a decent amount of water, so I'm considering getting her some kitten formula.
They left the IV in her arm in case she had an emergency, but I'm taking her in to get it removed tomorrow morning. She's got enough energy that she wants to leave the bathroom and tour her dominion, but I'm not letting her run around the house until the thing's out.
Unrelatedly, the deer have for some reason eaten one of Dad's cornstalks - just one! - and Dad nearly killed his own blueberry plants by misapplying weed killer. His Father's Day gift is that I weeded his corn and trimmed off the dead parts of the blueberries.
