As a fix for #3: The Garlic Chop - Best Kitchen Gadget EVER. Super easy to use, super easy to clean (rinse immediately after use). It has increased our household fresh garlic consumption 100-fold compared to the squeeze type. Seriously. Also much easier on hands prone to fumbles or accidentally pinching fingers.
