Movable faucet-attachment dishwashers have a problem.

They glorp waste water out into the sink rather than straight into the drain, making everything in the vicinity smell like the inside of a dishwasher, which due to bacterial growth inevitably smells worse than just dirty dishes.

I find that periodically running the dishwasher empty with a scoop of Oxy-clean thrown in helps some.
