Admission that makes me sad
I've been more talkative online and IRL than usual today, because I took some kratom after a break, and said semi-illicit substance broke me out of a four-day-long nearly-unbroken fit of Republican-related rage.
I did stop to get mad at my medical insurance company instead a couple times, but every other second of those days was like: "there's a houseboat. How many Republican congresspersons can feasibly fit on this houseboat, how can I get them on there, and how can I get them out to sea before they notice?" There is no discrete object upon which I have laid my eyes, these past few days, that has not been complicit in an imagined act of cruelty towards conservative officeholders.
Basically I don't know why they want to ban kratom, I didn't come up with even a single nasty campaign stunt for my run against Rand Paul today.
(I'm too young to run against Rand Paul. But if he knows what's good for him, he'll have retreated to his dystopian underwater city powered by little girls' dreams by the time I'm legal for it.)
