Now that I think about it, though, Twilight vampires are probably definitely gems. I mean, canonically, they are sparkly, beautiful, and cold and hard to the touch. Which is basically what defines a gemstone, right? Speaking as someone who has learned everything that can be learned about Steven Universe from random context-free images on my dash, I feel confident in the awesomeness of my theory.
