Modern medicine.
New GP bullied insurance into covering Modafinil prescription, which I will be able to pick up tomorrow. Hurrah! It probably helped that Mom and Dad are friends with the pharmacist, of course.
I think I now have an ADHD diagnosis, though, which is weird. I pretty much have had the symptoms for inattentive-type for the past couple years, but that's new, and it seems like ADHD's usually a life-long thing.
There's a lot of symptom overlap with ASD, though, and I've arguably been doing the Autistic Regression thing since around 2012. So, y'know. Growing new symptoms like a badly-potted orchid putting out an unwieldy spike?
Neurologist appointment moved to Monday of next week, for a reason. This was my decision, not the neurologist's - I have a thing to do this week, and my brain can wait a few more days.
