Does anyone know what's going on on my shirt?

People who know about Asian narrative art other than manga? What are these dudes up to, if anything?





I’ve been calling it the Jataka Shirt (when I don’t call it the Cultural Appropriation Shirt), but that’s just because my college art classes involved a lot of illustrations of the jatakas.
