Kentucky state motto: "We're Not Entirely Sure What We Stand For, Actually."

So we've got eight credits that appear to be environmental in nature, one credit for the use of clean coal... and one credit for the use of, y'know, just coal.
I want to say, "how does that even happen," but it's actually pretty obvious. I have often had occasion to regret that "Kentucky" has more syllables than "Sparta."

Unrelatedly, if you're American and doing your taxes online using TurboTax Free edition: before you start with that, check and see if you're also eligible for Freedom Edition. Freedom Edition is the one that is, sometimes, free. The cleverly-named Free Edition actually charges you $27.95 per state return. Freedom Edition is free for 21 states, and $14.95 per return for everywhere else.
It's also not currently visible on TurboTax's homepage; you need to google for it. I think they have this because the IRS gives them something for it, but they apparently don't really want people to use it. Because TurboTax is a jerk, you can't transfer any data you've entered in one edition to the other, which is why you want to be sure you get started with the correct one. I had to scrap a set of completed returns today because of that.
