There is actually a third Riverside book from Kushner, The Fall of the Kings, co-written with Delia Sherman, and it actually contains a fair amount of BDSM with an emphasis on the BD. But the book is so awful and reading it made me so angry that I cannot recommend it to anyone. I've avoided reading anything else by Sherman because she's the variable factor in the trilogy so I assign her the blame.
